its kinda working. i swapped ecu to stock and changed the injectors out for the stockers (the stock ecu might have some trouble working the 1000cc's ).

i fired her up and she idled real low like it should, and it seemed to have power when i reved it. wideband read a favorable stoich for the most part, then dipped into the 10's for a few seconds while i drove out. no biggie.

i'm pretty much just waiting for a CEL to pop, and it does. turns out to be knock sensor. perfect, i'm just one 19mm deep socket away from putting that thing into place, so hopefully with that in there i wont get any more CELS and i can start to put my turbo kit together!

For some reason, even when i post relevant and useful information, i get banned

ok so i put stock injectors back in and the stock ecu and started and drove the car, afr readings were safe and ok. no cel for about 1-2min then knock sensor popped....


for some reason the 78 only pops when i use uberdata and not crome. i couldn't get my car to start w/ crome and 1000cc injectors, but uberdata works great w/ em.. i must be missing somethinga bout crome? now that i have stock injectors i should be able to work it.


somehow between two days ago when i drove it with the stock ecu and yesterday when i tried to start it again w/ crome the injector seals became damaged and in a very short amount of time lots of fuel was dumped onto the ground. so now i have to go get new seals from honda today, i assume.

still dont konw whats up with the cel 78? i need more time w/ my running car and crome to find out if this is a conversion harness or ecu problem, or what. maybe it will pop with the obd2 ecu if i give it enough time??

You can disable the knock sensor in Crome under option/sensors I do believe, just a check box.

Knock sensor isn't used under WOT anyway.

Also, in Crome you can change the fuel multiplier for your 1000cc injectors.

What ecu are you running for your EMS.?

As far as the injector seals being damaged? I don't understand, a little gas on them isn't going to ruin them in a day?

knock sensor once popped pulles a shitload of timing

i scaled crome up for the 1000s, but for some reason it doesn't work.

exactly, like a gallon of fuel was on the ground dude, it sounded like it was raining as my car was idling. i looked underneath the car and my face must have turned white. it looked like the block had burst holes in it all over and coolant was spewing down. it was not isolated but coming from everywhere. it was horrible. it was all fuel.

literally 12 hours before that, and 0 work into the car, i drove it to pop the knock sensor CEL. i had taken it around the block and back.

P28 ecu needs p30 or p72 roms to function correctly with boost + crome...
