Took my 92 civic LX 4 door to the track last night.
Finally got the right injectors (450s back in) instead of the 880s.
stock block B16 with ~ 79k miles on it.
GSR cams,
JG victor X intake manifold
70mm BBK TB
Exedy organic race clutch
ran open dowpipe tonite on 9 pounds of boost.
60 foot 1.736
330 5.078
1/8 7.854
MPH 88.07
1000 10.268
1/4 12.296
MPH 111.06
154k miles on the chassis on STOCK suspension.
ran on 22x8x15 MT ET Drag slicks on 15x6 GSR Wheels (I think it'd get a better patch contact with some 15x8 wheels)
EDIT: Forgot, FULL interior. Car still has AC and Power Steering and a small infinity basslink in the back

Your 60's are quite yummy....
How much did you get those slicks for?

Now I'm not sure on weight.
I checked a couple sites and they list the 92 civic LX 4 door @ 2250 (but I guess that is without AC, since AC isn't standard??)
then how much heavier a b-series swap is + another 75 pounds for the turbo kit.
I think I'll go weigh my car today for shyts and giggles:)
and EXVTEC, I'm sporting the 22x8x15 slicks on my 15x6 GSR fat 5 wheels. (not really the best combo, but that's all I have as far as wheels go for now) and it matches my set of fat 5s that I drive daily with...

I used this site to look @ weights
http://www.clubcivic.com/board/specs.php
As far as slicks. I had it from when I had my shop. I know jeg's, and summit sells them also, or if you're interested, I can check to see what I can you a pair for.

The 92' LX should have a/c standard. The Dx is the stripped out version. I can't believe how light those things are. But the reason is that they don't have the safety stuff the EK came with, such as the airbags, side beams, stronger chassis, etc...
I'm estimating your whp at 260-270

I'm not sure. Honda-tech said that it didn't come standard on most civics, but who knows. I have seen some without AC with a big blocker plastic panel on them....
But I think the best thing to do is to actually weigh the car. But you are correct, the 92s were a tad lighter. I can really only think of it not having a passenger side airbag. But who knows. Honda seems to find a way to add more weight each year.
As far as whp now. I think I'm ~ that hp range too. Suppose a dyno session could help

bumpage for video.
1 tire fire, blah blah.
That video was the 12.8 run. First run of the day for me, on brand new slicks.
I believe the DSM ran a 13.4 @ 101 mph in that run. I'd tell you, but the time slip flew out the window on the way home Don't put timeslips in the backseat and have all 4 windows down
All the popping is the MSD 2 step building boost off the line..

Thanks for the vid bro...
At least I set a goal for you to beat.
There's a guy on HT that has a b16 drag kit boosted CX hatch. I think he clicked of 11.9 or 11.8s. CRAZY.

Nice vid. Do you have any wheelhop issues? If not, what did you do to eliminate it?
Also, I'm stuck now in between deciding to buy bfg drag radials or just get slicks, there's a 150 dollar difference, but I haven't decided if it's worth it.
Help me out.

open downpipe can increase hp, but it may need to be tuned to get the potential it creates.
As far as DRs or slicks.
the BEST 60 foot I cut on the bigger 225-50-15 was a 2.089 (this equates to a 24.5" tall tire
the 22x8x15 slicks I got the 1.736. You won't hook as well with a DR compared to a full out slick.
If you want a track dedicated tire. Go slick. If you want to roll around on the streets and go to the track with 1 set of wheels. Get the DRs. it'll be better than a street tire, but no where close to a slick.

Same thing I am facing Cliff, I will prolly end up getting both.
Slicks will get you were you want, and if you are putting enough power to successfully use slicks, than you will need dr's for the street.....lol...
Only thing....if you drive alot, you will need to replace them often....

I think it was covered in the thread. You just have to read thru it
240 and 190 with a stock b16 and 9 pounds.
then I got better exhaust (instead of the apexi WS cat-back) GSR cams, JG victor X intake manifold BBK 70mm throttle body.

like I said, I cut a 2.089 60 foot with the BFGs. so 2.0 60s are possible?
