Do you even know what profiled means? You are not, "profiled” by police if your car has numerous equipment violations! How about checking the updated laws on exhaust. 27150.2VC Police do not need to measure 95db anymore, rather, if it is in their opinion it is excessive then there is a violation. I hate when people act as though police have to prove their exhaust is 95 db. I can't stand the sound of so many of the "tin can" exhausts; I love to see them pulled over. I was never stopped with my Comptech exhaust or heard of anyone being stopped for their Mugen piece. And what is your gripe with 27200VC? You don't think people ignore this law when they sell their car? You don't think dealerships let a car with modified exhaust off their lots if someone wants to buy it? Many imports have such heinous equipment violations they make it so tempting for police to look at them. I am sure Police are very familiar with 26708(a)VC, 5200VC, 5201VC, and 24003VC? Police would often look at my car as they passed, that is their job to find violations, if they didn't see any they would keep going. I didn't cry that I was being profiled because of it.
